Grain dryers

Grain dryers brands modular SPM and dryer grain silo marks SSS intended for drying of grain food and fodder purposes, as well as seeds of cereals, legumes, cereals and sunflower. Dryers provide drying of grain and seeds with initial humidity to 35%. Dryer burner equipped for natural gas with the smooth control of power. Control system for the dryer provides manual and automatic modes of drying. Controlled and managed parameters are the coolant temperature, grain temperature, grain moisture at the inlet and at the outlet of the dryer.


The purpose of the product

Modular grain dryers are designed for drying grain for seed, food and fodder purposes, as well as seeds of cereals, legumes, cereals and sunflower. Dryers provide drying of grain and seeds with initial moisture content to 35% and can work in both once-through and recirculation mode. Dryers are used as part of grain cleaning and drying systems and seed cleaning and drying lines.

In accordance with the Protocol of the State acceptance tests No. 04-30D-08 dated 26 December 2008 with the environmental parameters - air temperature +4...+8 °C, relative humidity 72...76%:

  • the specific consumption of conditional fuel for drying a planned one ton of grain made up 4.76...of 5.28 m3/sq. MT, with a decrease of humidity on the 5.4...at 7.4% , that is, the fuel consumption by reducing the moisture content of 1 ton of grain by 1% amounted to 1.15...of 1.32 m3/t/%;
  • specific consumption of electricity amounted to: 1,9...2,9 kWh/sq. MT;
  • the design of the dryer in terms of security meets the requirements of occupational safety, provides the necessary sanitary-hygienic conditions in the workplace and environmental protection. Noise level (72 dBA), vibration (78 dB) and dust (1.7 mg/m3) at the workplace of the operator does not exceed the values stipulated by the regulatory documentation;
  • over the period of the test failures in operation of the dryer is not fixed.


The advantages of dryers SPM:

  • multi-level hot zone provides flexibility in the process of drying, fuel efficiency and more high-quality grain at the exit of the dryer (high temperature used for grains with higher moisture levels as soon as it enters the grain of the mine, the gradual reduction in temperature allows you to complete the drying process of grain, to improve its quality and to save energy);
  • high uniformity of drying of grain (using the inverter system for the mixing of grain in the stream after each module);
  • microdiffusion burner development PJSC "Khorolsky mechanical plant" (confirmed with the state certificate of conformity) have excellent performance and are stable and efficient combustion, low emissions. This is achieved by the design of the burner and smooth (unlike speed, other manufacturers) regulation of the ratio gas – air in different modes of power of the burner, which in turn can significantly improve drying for softer modes, which is especially important for the preparation of seed material;
  • reinforced supporting structure to withstand large wind and offset the mass-centering of the load;
  • the use of radial fans unlike axial reduce noise to levels lower than stipulated standard documentation;
  • increased the efficiency of the dryer due to the lack of transport elements for the coolant;
  • the presence of the cooling zone;
  • the use for the manufacture of sieves galvanized steel class 1 (275 g/m2) of 1.5 mm thickness significantly increases the life of the dryer;
  • the use of the screw in the boot as intermediate bearings of spherical bearing rolling elements (other manufacturers use plain bearings) increases reliability and longevity of the host dryer and minimizes the chance of breakage during operation;
  • fast transition during drying of different crops (not more than 1 hour);
  • an electronic complex of control of the humidity and temperature of the grain during drying in a mode on-line, gives you the ability to control the drying process and its correction;
  • easy operation due to:
    • monitoring grain moisture content· the temperature control system of heat carrier and heating of the grain
    • light and sound alarm about damage to motors and actuators
    • interlocking system, which eliminates the possibility of including units in a different sequence than that provided technological scheme of the dryer;
  • the design of this dryer allows you to produce the delivery to the installation site already assembled modules by conventional means without obtaining special permits;
  • easy to assemble, does not require complex mechanisms and skilled contractors, it is possible to force the plumbers and electricians of the customer under the guidance of the representative of the plant for 10-15 days (5-6 persons).


At the request of the buyer, optionally possible to install a heat recovery system, but as shown, the use of such systems in dryers of this type in our climatic zone, slight savings in energy offset by labor costs for maintenance of such a system (cleaning from dust, and from freezing at low temperatures) and increased dust concentration in the coolant (to increase the probability of ignition of grain in the dryer).
